Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

Overview

Idrico is built with privacy at its core. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We design Idrico to help you save and relive travel memories — not to sell your personal data.

  • Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access
  • Improve product reliability and performance

We do not sell your personal data.

Location Data & Precision Controls

Location is part of Idrico’s experience, but you control what’s saved and what’s shared:

  • You choose whether a marker is private or public
  • You can share exact locations or approximate areas
  • You can edit or remove markers at any time

Public markers may appear in discovery feeds based on your visibility settings.

Sharing of Information

We share information only when necessary:

  • With other users, based on your visibility choices
  • With trusted service providers who help us run Idrico (hosting, email delivery, analytics)
  • For legal and safety reasons, if required to comply with law or to protect users and Idrico from abuse

We do not share your content with advertisers.

Data Retention & Deletion

  • You can delete individual markers and memories anytime
  • You may delete your account in the app
  • When you delete your account, we remove associated data from active systems

Some data may persist temporarily in encrypted backups as part of normal operations and recovery processes.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to improve protections as Idrico evolves.

Children’s Privacy

Idrico is not intended for children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Idrico changes. If we make material changes, we’ll post the updated version and revise the effective date.
